We were delighted to be invited to chat with the Duke of Cambridge last week when he visited Hendon Football Club to find out more about the incredible mental health initiatives the club is running to improve support in their community.
It was great to have the opportunity to tell the Duke about our partnership with Hendon Football Club, in particular working together to create a dementia friendly club, as well as our recently launched tackling loneliness campaign called Community Connections. ‘Heads Together’ is a mental health initiative spearheaded by The Royal Foundation of The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, which combines a campaign to tackle stigma and change the conversation on mental health with fundraising for a series of innovative new mental health services.
