We now know that the Government has moved from ‘containment phase’ to ‘delay phase’, and here is a link to a helpful article that explains their thinking.
We will continue to function but have made a few important changes which are:-
1. Day to day
- Minimise meetings/gatherings and non-essential appointments
- We will introduce higher level of checks on external visitors.
- We will increase our hygiene facilities and information. (i.e. where we can order hygiene products)
2. Who should not be in at Ashford Place?
- The Government has now advised that anyone however mild, should stay at home, and not leave their home for 7 days from when the symptoms started.
The symptoms are recent onset of:
- new continuous cough and/or
- high temperature
- Anyone who has a confirmed case should self-evidently be self-isolating.
- Anyone who is a close contact of a confirmed case should also self-isolate for 14 days from the last time they had contact with the confirmed case.
- Anyone who has returned from a Category 1 country in the past 14 days should self-isolated.
- Anyone who has returned from a Category 2 country in the past 14 days and developed symptoms should self-isolate.
