Another successful visit from health care coordinators – from Brent health Matters team – who managed to get around to most of the clients and staff to carry out blood sugar levels, just before we embarked on lunch. We requested their visit as part of our programme of raising awareness of diabetes and in particular how anyone can reduce the possibility of contracting the condition. The next event will focus on carrying out mini assessments on our clients, staff and volunteers which will focus on areas such as BMI, oxygen saturation, blood pressure etc.
