On the buses: Continuing the theme of dementia awareness throughout Brent Kilburn Primary Care in partnership with CADBrent and ourselves delivered training to bus drivers at the Willesden Green Bus Garage today. An excellent example of a local company evidencing its corporate social responsibility by working with local health and welfare partners in promoting positive health and well-being. The drivers showed a keen interest in our presentation, mentioned some instances when they came across a passenger with memory problems or confusion and who felt able to respond with positive customer service. We will continue our work with Metroline throughout Brent to raise awareness of dementia and to help bus drivers continue their excellent customer service.
