We’ve written often about the very difficult year it has been for people living with dementia and their carers. And it continues to be a difficult time. However, this week many of them had a day out courtesy of our staff and volunteers.
On Wednesday morning a group visited the Wallace Collection near Oxford Street and in the afternoon a larger group took in a show at the Kiln to see the wonderful Wife of Willesden at the Kiln. A day out like this is very unusual due to the demands of 24/7 caring as well as for people living with dementia. We thank the Wallace Collection and the Kiln for their warm welcome, and making our day.
