After a long and often depressing lockdown Dementia voices and the dementia peer support group met up at Ashford Place for the first in-house Dementia Friendly Tuesday this week. The meeting included a blended digital solution to include people who were still shielding or unable to come for other reasons, and everyone enjoyed themselves. We are taking the return cautiously and we are all getting used to having our temperature taken, using the hand dispenser, masks and of course following on these new directional and instruction signage across the centre.
