At Ashford Place, we pride ourselves on offering high-quality, personalised support through our experienced team of Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) workers. With a combined average of 14 years’ experience per team member, our dedicated staff bring a wealth of knowledge, insight and compassion to every person they support.
Our team meets regularly to share learnings and keep up with emerging trends — from housing and benefits advice to the increasingly complex challenges faced by older adults experiencing digital exclusion, limited access to transport, or difficulties managing their finances in a cashless society.
What sets us apart is our flexibility and determination. Whether it’s one-to-one appointments, home visits for those living with dementia, outreach sessions in local libraries, or meeting people in places where they feel safe and comfortable, we are committed to meeting people where they are — both literally and emotionally.
We consistently deliver face-to-face support with a fast turnaround from initial request to action. We’re proud to say we don’t just offer advice — we offer solutions. Whether it’s navigating Universal Credit changes, dealing with council delays and digital barriers, helping with eVisa issues, or supporting those with long-term health conditions, we work tirelessly to make sure our clients receive the help they are entitled to.
Many people we meet aren’t even aware of the support available to them. Our role is not only to provide immediate assistance but to help people take the first step in planning for better health, stability, and independence. Once the pressing issues are resolved, clients are also invited to join our wider health and wellbeing programmes — creating a pathway to a more connected, confident and fulfilling life.
When people come to us feeling uncertain, isolated or overwhelmed, they leave feeling heard, supported and empowered. That’s the Ashford Place difference.
