Shout out for mental health


SHOUT CELEBRATION – Our latest initiative ‘Mental Health Film & Arts Festivals’ was on show last week at a reception at the House of Commons to announce our plans for 2024.  The event, whose guests included members of the House of Lords, London Assembly Members Krupesh Hirani and Anne Clarke, and Shout’s stakeholders and performers, was hosted by Dawn Butler MP, Brent Cental who welcomed the guests and thanked Shout and Ashford Place for their work in the community.

The event was attended by star of stage and screen and SHOUT’s Patron, Michelle Collins as well as actress, comedian and writer Brenda Gilhooly, actress, writer, choreographer Maria McAteer, film maker Melanie Manchot (check spelling) as well as a number of performers and filmmakers who had screened their content or performed at SHOUT LONDON 2023. We look forward to festivals in Liverpool and Kilburn in 2024.
