As we wave goodbye to 2021 which was another unusual year, we now look forward to a much more positive, safe and healthier year ahead in 2022.
We are happy to report that many of our clients spent a nice Christmas and New Year with family and friends which, as we know, was not the case last year, so we are all very grateful for that. We also know, and we never forget that many of our clients spent Christmas alone or unwell but our Befriending team, as always, made sure to stay in touch with them throughout the Christmas period to let them know that they are not alone and we are always at the other end of the phone for a chat.
All of us at Ashford Place look forward to a year of continued friendships and we hope for new friendships to form as they have done over the years. If the last two years has taught us anything, it is that with a good Befriending team behind them, our clients will never feel isolated and always part of a community.
We are not out of the woods yet, but with the continued support of Ashford Place focused on our clients, we will all emerge from this pandemic a much stronger and united community.
Keeping our clients safe is always a top priority for the staff at Ashford Place, so we continue to adhere to Government Guidelines by wearing masks while walking around the building, we continue to have our sanitising stations at arrival points and social distancing will stay in place until otherwise advised.
