Our “ Wednesdays for Wellbeing” groups are surging ahead in popularity. The variety of wellbeing activities on offer encourage participation from everyone in our activity space and people come from all parts of NW London to take part. We offer the unique opportunity to take part in a range of wellbeing activities in comfortable modern surroundings. Lots of new friendships are formed and old ones kept alive. 75 people enjoyed some or all of these activities:
- Healthy Eating workshop
- Seated gentle exercise programme
- Walk in Gladstone Park
- Healthy freshly cooked 3 course Lunch
- Singing for Wellbeing group (we even attracted an audience!)
- Book club – we discussed James Joyce’s Dubliners and our next read is Frank by Julie Hamill
- Baking Club – make, bake and take home
- Guitar class
- Piano class
We are grateful to our funders for helping make all this happen for our elderly clients and for those living with mental health issues or are isolated and vulnerable in our community. If you would like to help us continue to provide meaningful activities and exercise programmes you can donate by:
