Dementia Awareness Week Charity Football Match

22 May 2019
2:00pm-10:00pm
How to get there:
Hendon Football Club | Townsend Lane | NW9 7NE

A game of footie to raise awareness of dementia and help create a Dementia Friendly Brent 2020.

Quintain, Ashford Place, Silver Jubilee Park and Brent council are collaborating to bring Dementia Awareness Week to the forefront of conversations this May. Almost all of us know someone affected by dementia. But too many people living with dementia report feeling cut off from their community. We all have a role to play in making the UK a dementia-friendly place to live. Hendon FC/Silver Jubilee Park is kindly hosting a charity football match in order to raise funds for Ashford Place, which hosts one of Brent’s multiple Dementia Cafes.

There’ll be plenty of laughs, familiar faces and refreshments to enjoy at the Silver Jubilee Park, and we’d encourage you to tell a friend to friend. Come to watch your fellow colleagues, friends and family play on Wednesday 22nd May 2019 alongside real Hendon FC players on the official Hendon FC football grounds!!
