The Independent Lifestyles Project is continued to expand even in these challenging times of COVID 19 we had to find a way of keeping the project running through email, online chat through our website and phone advice. This will give client different options to contact us.
The early intervention is to ensure the issues don’t escalate after COVID 19 and we can work with clients through these access giving them peace of mind and a solution to what would otherwise be an anxious and daunting experience.
Delivering Success for Clients during COVID 19
Shade worked with Mr S and had success this week when she was able to help with his Personal Independent Payment Claim. This was back dated for a period of 12 months and was awarded £3559.00. The payment was for a period of 12 months whereas the usual maximum back dated period is for 6 months. Mr S came to one of our outreach crisis clinics in Kilburn and then Shade worked with him over a period of appointments and while on lock down due to COVID 19 to achieve the desired outcome.
